Do I need anything else to support my mattress?

Yes, we recommend you add a flat, sturdy support like a foundation to your mattress when using our metal bed frame. The Leesa foundation was designed to support your Leesa Original or Leesa Hybrid mattress.

What's the difference between a foundation and a box spring?

Box springs are designed to support inner spring mattresses and can change the way a foam mattress feels to sleepers. A foundation is a hard, firm surface that provides the support a foam mattress needs.

Do I need tools to put the bed frame together?

The bed frame consists of four outer rails held together by pins and a center rail that slides into place. No Allen wrench or power tools needed. If you're unsure about how to set up your bed frame, give us a call or send us a message. We're here to help!

When will I receive my bed frame?

Your bed frame ships in 3–5 business days. We will send you an email with your tracking details as soon as your bed frame leaves the building.

The short answer is no, not always. It is entirely up to you to set up your Leesa or Leesa Hybrid mattress with a bed frame.

Bed frames are commonly used to position a mattress and foundation in order for the bed to stay in place and to raise the mattress off the floor. When putting up a headboard or canopy, both of necessitate the use of a bed frame.

We strongly advise you to use a stable, rigid base for your Leesa or Leesa Hybrid mattress, whether it's our traditional metal bed frame with a Leesa foundation, a Leesa platform bed, or a slatted bed.

How much is a bed frame?

The average price of a bed frame is around $200, but Leesa bed frames range from just $129 for a twin size bed frame to $159 for a Cal King size bed frame.

What is a bed frame also called?

Bed frames are sometimes also called bedsteads. It refers to the railing that holds the foundation that provides support for your mattress.
